Volunteering is not only an act of kindness but a choice a person makes to create difference in the lives of those who are in need.

“Over the past five years, an estimated 4,104.41 TMC (thousand million cubic) of Krishna River water has flowed wastefully into the Bay of Bengal due to the absence of proper water storage facilities. This year too, approximately 72.75 TMC of fresh water has been released downstream from the Prakasam Barrage since July alone, sparking concern among farmers and experts alike.”

With growing such adverse crisis, people have to be alerted and actions should be taken. Government alone neither is responsible nor accountable for all the work. We as a community have to become a part of the movement. In times NGOs are in full motion one such is WedidIt.

This is where the real challenge for NGOs begins: moving from small wins to large-scale impact. WeDidIt is a platform that helps nonprofits and NGOs raise funds, understand their donors better, and grow their impact.

At WeDidIt, they believe that the heart of nonprofit work lies not just in addressing problems, but in solving them at scale so that change becomes long-lasting and self-sustaining.

WeDidIt volunteers takes their mission, concern, pledge and job by their heart. Their compassion towards society and to make a difference is heartwarming.

The NGO has borrowed their goals from the 17 Sustainable development Goals of the United Nations Development Programme. Effective and long-lasting results come from small and consistent steps. WeDidIt is a stream of water which lead to the ocean of collective benefit.

You could be one of the numbers up here, who brought peace and happiness to those in need. No efforts go in vain. Be a volunteer in good deed. If you’re working toward change, remember: start small, think big, and build systems that outlast you.
