Across the globe certain governments can be classified as failed states. A 'Failed state' is when all the funcations of state have almost collapsed or in some exreme circumstances stopped. This results in a failer to provide even the most basic services to citizens. Like 24 hours policing, water and electricity maintenance, environmental pet control and many other key services.

Both somalia and Afghanistan are know failed states that have adopted fundamental Islamic law. Some central africa nations like somali are seen as failed states. The people suffer greatly from a violent cruel leadership who kill at will. There is little difference between governments of this type. Infact they have many similarities in they way rule over there people. They punish their citizens and effect their own view of law and order.

Many of these states can be considered to have mafia like leadership. There is no worse examples of political institutions who have on their citizens extreme control. Nevertheless faild states exist at the extreme end of world politics. After this only international intervention or cival war can change the fortunes of people who are stuck in this loophole.

Therfore these examples of faild states we have given is by no means a exact science. However, it is wholesomely known that a unwillingness to cooperate. With international rules and bodies can be the main reasons for a state to be classed as faild.
