Hello,
I was wondering if someone with blogging experience could give me some insights about it. I already have someone with drawing skills and we have some strips ready; My doubts were about the technologies we should use (wordpress, asp.net + angular spa etc), the hosting..
Any help is appreciated!

Does your blog need anything special? If not I would say just go for wordpress or even dev.to.... if there is something unique you want to do just pik your favourite technology and bash out a CMS, just a quick note thought headless CMS do exist and some are really good. I would say try your best to avoid writing your own blogging system as it's a lot of work, that unless your making money off of it will get tedious quickly

In terms of blogging it's nothing out of the ordinary. Keep it simple. There are more than enough free blogging platforms that are likely all suitable, so don't overthink that part: Pick one you're comfortable working with and focus on your content.

To be honest, the choice of platform you use for this at an early stage doesn't matter. People will visit your site for your content.

Unless you really want to spend time creating a custom website and know what you're getting into time-wise, I'd recommend using an off-the-shelf blogging platform to get started.

WordPress is a safe choice, as it's easier to get help if you get stuck. Also there are online tutorials or plugins that you can use for just about any of your needs. And the platform is easy enough to hack on (or find someone who can) if you need to add new functionality in the future.

If you are comfortable self-hosting WordPress, you can go that route. If you're not, you can use wordpress.com/ or another WordPress hosting company.

Don't get caught up in deciding a platform. Set something up and focus on your content.
