Learnings and Takeaways
Storyblok's asset management was crucial for handling large property image galleries and virtual tour media. The automatic image optimization significantly improved page load times.
The most challenging aspect was creating a flexible search system that could handle both structured data (price, bedrooms) and content-based searches (neighborhood descriptions). I solved this by combining Algolia's search capabilities with Storyblok's rich content structure.
Storyblok's localization features enabled us to serve multiple markets with region-specific content and pricing information.
The project demonstrated how content-driven approaches can differentiate real estate platforms by providing value beyond simple property listings.
