I wanted to follow up with a quick memo about the donation our community made possible by contributing #SheCoded, #TheyCoded, and #SheCodedAlly stories to our collection in 2022.

We received 96 stories for our International Women's Day celebration last week. As such, DEV and GitHub have jointly donated $2,000 USD to Girls Who Code ($20 per post, rounded up).

We're humbled by the powerful stories of resilience, determination, passion, vulnerability, and allyship our community shared in honor of International Women's Day. The dollars DEV and GitHub are putting behind this celebration are going directly to an organization helping to build a female tech pipeline with summer coding programs, coding clubs, and college programs for girls of many different ages.
