Am I out of touch or should I know the one on the right? I mean, to be fair I only know 3 on the left that don't have their names written under them, and I'm guessing the "W" is for Word. I'm terrible with icons :)
You guys aren't even trying to hide the fact that you don't know how bell curves work anymore, are you?
B - technicaly that is the case in my real job. Our code run in cloud europe/middle-east wide. Many problem come from on environment change something for example new security guide and that cause the problem in our program.
precise: I haven't touched the code in a year!
I did something identical with this code: dev.to/pengeszikra/chuck-norris-to...
Yes, that's necessary. Otherwise the evil autocomplete in IDEs will make me forgot how to code
(said no dev ever before complaining about AI wasn't a thing like it is nowadays)
According to my experience with Japanese clients, this is quite accurate.
But eh, there's worse...
Honestly though, I actually turn the inline suggestions off for the majority of my sessions. I can't stand tripping over them when I'm trying to just use my damn tab key normally. And I don't like the visual noise they cause around my cursor. If my cursor is in the code, I want to write what I intended to write without any distractions.
Standard code completions have always been good enough for me for everyday use. I turn the suggestions on when I'm refactoring or spinning up boilerplate, super handy for that. There are plenty of times when it predicts the exact block of code I was about to write, verbatim, I like that. But I'm kind of a control freak so I'm hitting Esc more often than Tab if I leave it on.
Yeah, accurate keyboard! It really should not be Ctrl+C Ctrl+V like Stackoverflow keyboard, because a vibe coder just types another prompt to debug. Hahaha.
Isn't JS is what actually running under the hood? Even if the compiler is ported to Go, it'll transpile TS to JS.
Hhhhh I have gained too much happiness under this post!🤣🤣🤣I want to recommend an environment building tool recently.☺️Personally, I think it is very light and fast. servbay.com/
Let's kick things off with the AI-generated meme asked to riff on the ideas of today's cover image. Verdict: AI images are getting better but less funny.
