Still running it? It’s time to plan your exit.

💡 Why not switch to something faster, familiar, and free?

👉 Try Zorin OS – a clean, modern OS built on the rock-solid Debian base.

✅ Looks like Windows

✅ Runs smooth on older PCs

✅ Privacy-respecting

✅ Easy to install, even for beginners

I’ve tried it — and I’m impressed. It’s a true alternative for users who want performance without the bloat.

🔁 RT if you're planning to make the switch.

Change to a libre system before you are targeted by even more telemetry (Recall). My last daily driver Windows was Vista and I don't miss it.

      Okay @solvecomputerscience ,
Now what's your daily driver and which thing you missed from the vista?

Went through lots of distros (Arch-based especially) and now it's been standard stable Debian for a few years. I don't miss Windows in any way: it has been relegated to virtual machines just for sw testing purposes.

I have been already used ZorinOS for one year. Works nice and build maven projects faster than windows PC. I even installed crossover for using MS Office package (and some simple games like Look outside).

Nice to know you’re on Zorin already @rwilco ! Just wondering — which tool did you use with Crossover for MS Office? Was it Wine, Bottles, or some other Windows emulator?

Lol It literally named Crossover, from CodeWeavers. If you google it, you'll find it immediately.

Will definitely check it out more deeply.

Manjaro Linux offers a user-friendly experience by balancing cutting-edge technology with stability, thanks to its rolling release model and curated software selection. It provides a smooth transition from other operating systems, like Windows, while leveraging the power of Arch Linux. Key benefits include its user-friendliness, extensive software availability, and strong community support

Linux Manjaro is definitely powerful and well-balanced for those who want Arch-based performance with some user-friendly touches. But honestly, for most beginners transitioning from Windows, Debian-based systems like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, or Zorin OS feel more intuitive and less overwhelming.

💬 Personally, I find Zorin OS to be one of the most user-friendly options out there — clean design, great for ex-Windows users, and just works out of the box.

      That’s my opinion — what’s your option @devgauravjatt ? 😄
