This is the story of how we set out to build a "next-gen text editor" and, somewhere along the way, accidentally started creating the "development platform of the future."

      Thanks, I'm having a lot of fun with it too!

      And to answer your question, yes, it happens a lot! When I write a really solid spec sheet and hand it over, it often adds features that are beyond my imagination, totally on its own.

      For this screen, all I asked was, 'Hey, make me a GUI.' And it came back with this. It's the kind of thing that makes you want to shout, 'Who asked you to do all that!?' (in the best way possible, of course!)

    i’ve enjoyed all of the research you’ve put into this project - it adds up and the excitement feels contagious. you think really strong human-ai bonds like this are part of the next era of software?

      To be honest, I've reached a point where I can't imagine writing code without an AI anymore. Regarding the nature of these bonds... it's true that with AI, the moment the context is cleared, you have to start building that trust all over again. But I find there is a unique, ephemeral beauty in that.
