As usual, every time we start at a new company, it takes a little while to get used to new terms, acronyms, and abbreviations. And this time is no different.
Right from the beginning, I kept hearing DA this... DA that... and had no idea what it meant. Turns out, DA = Data Analyst.
Now, TL is a term often heard by those who use the Scrum methodology. TL = Tech Lead – the technical leader of the team.
Lastly, still within the Scrum framework, SM stands for Scrum Master – the facilitator/servant leader within the squad (team), whose goal is to help the team work without blockers and to guide them in following the rituals and principles of the Scrum methodology.
