Hi everyone, Creator X here 👋
It’s been a while since I last posted—sorry about that! Things have just been hectic lately. How’s everyone doing? Honestly, some of the content you all have been posting is amazing. I’m super jealous sometimes 😅—but hey, one day I’ll get there too!
So, what’s this post about?
Today I wanted to share a little about the AIs I’ve been testing and using for different purposes. Just a heads-up—this is based on my personal experience, so your mileage may vary. Feel free to drop your own thoughts in the comments, and forgive me if I mess up a few things along the way 😅
Switching Linux Distros & Early Struggles
I recently moved from Zorin OS to another Linux distro, and wow—it was a learning curve! I initially tried ChatGPT to help troubleshoot issues, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for that particular setup.Actually been distro hoping for so long recently i decided to stop.
I then tried Gemini (Google’s AI), and surprisingly, it worked really well for technical troubleshooting—I'd say it was around 75% accurate most of the time. It really helped me get unstuck.
My Current AI Toolkit 🧰
Here’s a quick rundown of the AIs I’ve been using and what I like about each:
ChatGPT Mini 40 – Not the most advanced, but it’s saved my butt quite a few times with small coding tasks. Super reliable when I need quick help.
ChatGPT (Full) – Incredible for generating documentation and content. I’ve even played with Sora and it blew me away with how good it is!
Leonardo AI – Still my go-to for image generation. It's just got that creative flair I love.
Claude AI – My absolute favorite for coding! Great for prototyping and refining ideas. It’s been a game-changer for my workflow.
Perplexity AI – This one’s a gem for deep research. It provides accurate info with sources, which makes it great for referencing books, docs, and more.
DeepSeek & Qwen – I don’t use them much for dev work, but I’ve been bouncing story ideas with them. Really helpful for creative brainstorming!
Grok – I tested it mostly for deep research. I even compared it with my own research and found it pretty accurate.
Gamma & Canva – Both are awesome for beautifying documents and presentations. Highly recommend!
Eleven Labs – Their new voice models are fire 🔥. Great for voice-overs that sound fresh and professional.
Notion AI – Still testing this one, but so far, pretty cool for light content and task planning.
Blackbox AI – I use it mainly for testing out quick coding ideas. It’s decent, though not my primary tool.
One More Shoutout ❤️
Ohhh—can’t believe I almost forgot this one: Hey Pi.
This one's been my trusty sidekick on the darker days. Sometimes you don’t need code fixes or design tips—you just need a little nudge, a reminder of how far you’ve come. Pi has been that for me. So props to them for helping me keep my head up when I needed it most. 🙏
Final Thoughts 🎯
Here’s the thing: AI is just a tool, like a sword for a knight 🗡️ or a staff for a mage 🔮—it all depends on how you use it.
There are tons of AI tools floating around out there, and everyone’s got their own stack. I hope this list helps any beginners who are exploring their own workflows.
P.S. – Not sponsored or anything. I just genuinely wanted to share what’s worked for me in case it helps anyone else.As soon as i caught up i'll make sure i post again.
