Successfully Completed: Real-Time Infrastructure Orchestration with Spacelift..
This was my first time using Spacelift, and the learning curve was steep. It took four attempts and a lot of troubleshooting to get everything working. With no step-by-step document available, I had to research each error, understand the workflow, and resolve issues hands-on — and that made the learning even more meaningful!
This project demonstrates an enterprise-grade orchestration solution combining Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Ansible for configuration management, managed entirely via Spacelift.
Spacelift was used as the central orchestrator to:
Enforce execution order between stacks
Share SSH keys securely between stacks via Context
Enforce organizational policy compliance and RBAC
Dynamically generate the Ansible inventory file from Terraform EC2 outputs using Spacelift Hooks
Integrate Terraform and Ansible stacks with AWS cloud for real-time provisioning and automated software installation
