A few weeks ago I started developing the j-TockAuth library which allows to easily manage the authentication between a JS frontend and a Ruby on Rails backend that uses the devise token auth gem. since then I have two client projects in production that use it and it seems to work very well. of course there are still improvements to be made but any participation is welcome !
