Lately, I’ve been curious about how home and office security is evolving — especially with smart CCTV systems becoming more mainstream.

I came across this company called ORIGIN SECURITY that’s been setting up systems with features like remote viewing, motion-triggered alerts, and night vision. Got me thinking — we’re not far from home security being as programmable and customizable as any other smart home tool.

Have any of you built or worked with security-related tech?

Even if you haven’t worked on one directly, what do you think the future of DIY/home security looks like from a dev perspective? Are we heading toward full automation, or are there still gaps?
