Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, we all remember our first project, Id love to hear about.

Passion Project, Work project, School Assignment. I'd love to see what inspired others to learn programming failed or successful.
(Mines Sure Wasn't lol)

    I'll start

My first ever project my professor had assigned to us was to code a number guessing game . Very common to understand loops, random numbers, user input. I still remember the late nights trying to understand it all.

    Alright!

My first project was a text based trivia game. I was following a tutorial from Tech with Tim. I was in 2nd grade. I was sitting with my mom trying to figure out why it wasn't working (i didn't close the quotes probably 8 times lol). That was what got it all started!

Wow in second grade? That's awesome, it takes real perseverance to code that young and spark a passion. Can't wait to see your most recent work!

How long have you been coding?

Started Late, around high school. It began as just a passion project for my robotics club(Was very difficult for me starting on). Then I started using some of my free time to learn programming and languages. I eventually went for C++.

Honestly, one of my first projects was a really simple to-do list app. Nothing fancy — just a way to add, check off, and delete tasks. But looking back, it was such an important learning experience.

I remember struggling with updating the list dynamically and figuring out how to make the UI respond without refreshing the page. It made me dig into JavaScript in a way I hadn’t before and really understand how the browser works.

That small project gave me a real sense of accomplishment and made me excited to keep building. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine — and that’s what pushed me toward more challenging projects in web app development services and eventually mobile app development services.

Starting with something simple helped me feel like I could actually code, and that feeling has stuck with me ever since.
