Earth Day creeped up on us this year and I'm sorry to say we don't have an official DEV celebration to offer. I'm personally reflecting on how this is possibly the case for us this year - of all years - but that'll be a discussion with the team later.
My Earth Day awareness kicked in today when I stumbled across this post:

We Came. We Coded. We Cleaned the Planet (and Won).

Reading about hackathon experiences always puts me in a good mood. I'm so impressed by how our community consistently rises to challenges with such creativity and determination, and I'm so happy this team got their waste management project recognized as the winner. There are a lot of possibilities at the intersection of climate and tech that make me feel cautiously optimistic about our future.
To keep the good vibes flowing, I started perusing our Earth Day celebration from last year - our second-ever frontend challenge. We had some really great submissions so I thought I'd highlight the winners again and share some additional favorites:

Thanks for checking them out. I hope you're well today and taking care of yourself (and our beloved Earth!). I'm going to go throw some native wildflower seeds in my backyard after work - gotta keep the bees happy.
@denyme24 congrats on the win :)
