Revisiting Mastodon for Devs

There was a thread about Mastodon instances for devs back in 2018 but at least one of the mentioned servers (toot.cafe) seems to not be a thing anymore. Is mastodon.technology the place for front-end, back-end, full-stack folks or are there better choices?

toot.cafe is still around, but has server load issues with the influx of people returning en masse. Nolan posted a bit ago and essentially says he’s not shutting down, but the service may not be as reliable as some other instances. toot.cafe/@nolan/108195478074300236

I think I'm going to go ahead with indieweb.social.

I've been on Mastodon.technology for a bit now and I like it but it's not super tech heavy. For example, people aren't talking about the projects they're working on, have worked on, ideas, etc. all the time; which I would like :)

      How is it on indieweb.social?
