Hello, Dev Community!
I am K Om Senapati, a fellow Python dev and open-source enthusiast! I have contributed to open source and participated in Hacktoberfest for 2 years (via GitHub).
But this year it was special as I participated in Quira Hacktoberfest and Devfest as well 😉.
I also participated in some other events 🕺 like
Target 🎯
This year I targeted for more meaningful contributions than last year. Previously I contributed to DSA and RESOURCES repos mostly but this time I tried to contribute to actual projects used in the real world. 📈
I also had a target for getting into the AI domain through open source. 😉

Bot Verse Maintainer 🤖
I was a project admin for GSSOC and opened my project Bot Verse for Hacktoberfest. Around 22 contributors worked on it, and here’s the commit graph:
It was a great experience collaborating with the community to improve this project. 🤓
Learning 🧠
Some of my major learnings this October:
- Adding AI copilots and Generative UI to your web apps with Copilotkit
- Creating AI agents with memory via Julep
- Interacting with your databases via Chartdb and minds
Conclusion
October was an amazing month of growth for me. I’m excited to dive deeper into open source and give back even more.
