Cybersecurity in 2025: Are We Really Ready?

I’ve been noticing how fast cyber threats are evolving lately. It feels like every time businesses catch up with one type of attack, something new shows up—AI-driven phishing, deepfake scams, or even supply chain attacks.

From my own experience, most companies I’ve worked with put a lot of effort into preventing breaches, but when something does slip through, they aren’t always ready to detect and respond quickly. That’s where things usually go wrong.

So I’m curious to hear from this community:
👉 In 2025, what do you think organizations should focus on more—prevention, detection, or response?

I’d love to know how you or your teams are approaching this challenge.

I’d put my bet on response.
Here’s why: no matter how good prevention and detection get, they’ll never reach 100%. Something will always slip through—whether it’s a zero-day exploit, a clever social engineering trick, or an insider threat.
