What will be the next destination of Cristiano Ronaldo? There has been a lot of discussion recently around the answer to this question. But no one could say anything for sure. Finally, the answer to that question has been found. The Portuguese star is not leaving Saudi Arabia for now.

Ronaldo has signed a new two-year contract with Al Nasr, the Saudi Pro League team confirmed in a statement on Thursday.

Ronaldo signed for Al Nasr in December 2022 on a $200 million deal. That deal runs until this month. Al Nasr renewed the contract before it expired.

Ronaldo himself had paved the way for the rumors of Ronaldo leaving Saudi Arabia for the past few days. After the defeat against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League last month, he wrote on social media, ‘This chapter is over. But the story? It’s still being written. Gratitude to everyone.’

From this writing, many thought that Ronaldo might end his relationship with Al Nasr at the end of the current contract. However, that did not come true. Which will give relief to Al Nasr fans.

After signing the new contract, Ronaldo wrote on social media, “A new chapter is beginning. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.“
