Most of the time Copilot is just reading my mind and i only need to press TAB a couple of times.

BUT there are other times where it is like
"ok buddy, no, please stop"

For some weeks i decided to tried the following, instead of auto generating options I ask for it on demand.

And this is working great.

In VsCode, press CMD , (to open preferences) and add this one:

"github.copilot.editor.enableAutoCompletions": false,

this will stop copilot to auto speak all the time,

now, next step: set a keyboard short cut in order to "ask for copilot on demand"

CMD K + CMD S (to open keyboard shortcuts)

look for Trigger Inline Suggestion

I, personally use CTR + ENTER

This configuration is workgin great for me!
