Why I’m Actively Preparing for Remote Work

After publishing my first post on DEV, I realized how important it is for me to be intentional about my next career steps.

I currently live in Austria and work in software development, but my next big goal is clear:
building a stable remote career alongside my current job.

Why remote work?

• Flexibility and better work-life balance
• More international opportunities
• The ability to grow without being limited by location

My current focus

Right now, I’m focusing on:

• Strengthening my technical foundation
• Writing more about my journey and learnings
• Connecting with others who work remotely or are transitioning

This is just the beginning, and I plan to share:
