Job Description:

I’m looking for an experienced freelancer to deploy and configure Forem (an open-source community platform built with Ruby on Rails) to run on EasyPanel.
The goal is to have a fully working production environment with a domain + SSL configured, and an admin account ready for login.

Tasks:

1. Deploy Forem via EasyPanel using Docker Compose.
2. Configure PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and all required supporting services.
3. Solve Ruby build issues on EasyPanel (either by using a prebuilt image or Ruby tarball caching).
4. Set up domain and SSL directly in EasyPanel.
5. Create an admin account with the email I provide.
6. Document the full setup and configuration process so I can manage it later.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience deploying Forem or similar Ruby on Rails apps on EasyPanel, CapRover, Coolify, Portainer, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Docker/Docker Compose and production container management.
• Experience optimizing Rails app performance.

Additional Information:

• Server is already running EasyPanel with SSH/root access.
• Domain is already pointed to the server.
