Additional information

The image of the man is just a place holder, this is a template given for free to premium users of Hover Preview for supporting open-source. You can check it out here

Hover preview 🚀 - VsCode extension [BETA]

preview

This is a simple vscode extension used for previewing your html elements while hovering Currently made for html files only.

Note

This is still in beta, currently this extension will create a temp file in your working directory to render the html (called .hoverpreview.temp.html), we'll soon change that. Please refer to roadmap

You must wait for the extension to completely load to preview

preview

What is Hover preview?

We have all come across front-end codes that we don't understand because of lack of visual cues. Like the one shown below

preview

Now it can become overwhelming at first glance if you have no prior experience in the CSS library or framework used in the code. So to make it easier Hover Preview provides you with a quick preview of what it the element would look like in the browser.

Why use Hover preview?

Thanks! I actually searched for a good grayscale portrait on both unsplash.com and Pexels.com but I couldn't find the one that matched the theme well.

This is actually template that I am giving away for premium users of Hover preview extension. The image is just a placeholder, people using the template can change it to their liking

    It's super cool!
What I observed: at Work with an expert section, the text is overlapping. Also, the button Get in touch overlaps with the text under "Figma".

Thanks! Can you tell on which device you see that? Currently I tested on both mobile and desktop but I don't see it.

You are right, I have some particular settings on my Chrome profile that's why it was shown as overlapping. tested on other browser/ profile and it's just fine.
Anyway, this is the image based on what I made the remark.
