Ivy and Derek were fooling around with some synthesisers - and talked about how "composing" functionality - and tools / is a lot like sequencing electronic music.

The way that each little concept adds up - and the way that you can "compose" methods and manipulate data - is a lot like a synthesizer. Once you understand the concepts - then you can relate them to different languages - and things become a lot more like legos.
