I'm incredibly excited to announce that my personal project, Quotely, is officially launched and available now on the Google Play Store! This has been a passion project born from a simple idea: creating a clean, beautiful, and powerful space on my phone for daily inspiration and knowledge, without the usual digital clutter.
The "Why": Finding Signal in the Noise
In a world filled with endless notifications and distractions, I wanted an app that served a single, positive purpose: to provide a moment of clarity, motivation, or curiosity. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for—something that was both aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust—so I decided to build it myself. The result is Quotely, and I'm thrilled to finally share it with you.
What is Quotely?
Quotely is a modern app for quote enthusiasts, designed from the ground up to be your daily companion for wisdom and inspiration. It's more than just a list of sayings; it's a complete experience.

A Vast Library of Quotes & Facts: At its core, Quotely offers a massive, ever-growing collection of timeless quotes. But to make things more interesting, I’ve also integrated a unique AI-powered facts engine that delivers fascinating tidbits on everything from science and history to technology and art.
Complete Personalization Engine: I believe an app should feel like yours. The brand-new Appearance screen lets you take full control:
Color Palettes: Choose from dozens of beautiful, pre-built color schemes to match your mood and style.
Custom Fonts: Select from a curated list of elegant Google Fonts to make your reading experience perfect.
Powerful Offline Support: Inspiration shouldn't depend on an internet connection. A key feature is the ability to download the entire library of quotes, authors, facts, and tags directly to your device for a 100% offline experience.
Smart Notifications: Don't just seek inspiration—let it find you. You can enable and customize a variety of alerts, including Quote of the Day, Daily Inspiration, and Monday Motivation, to get the right boost at the right time.
The Tech Behind the Scenes
For those interested in the technical details, Quotely was built with a modern stack:
Frontend: Flutter, for a beautiful, high-performance cross-platform experience.
Backend: A .NET API to serve the content.
Content Generation: I built a series of background jobs using Hangfire and multiple AI provider APIs (like OpenAI and Gemini) to intelligently generate and manage the library of quotes and facts, ensuring the content is always fresh.
What's Next?
This launch is just the beginning. I'm already hard at work on the next set of features, including more advanced analytics, new content categories, and even more ways to personalize your experience.
