This is a submission for the 2024 Hacktoberfest Writing challenge: Contributor Experience

Hacktoberfest was an amazing experience! I learned so much about open-source collaboration, from understanding new codebases to following contributor guidelines. Although some issues were challenging, each taught me valuable skills and boosted my confidence.
