Intelligence Quotient < Emotional Quotient

Hi all! Welcome to my another blog. Today I am going to share with you about my wonderful conference experience, and what are things I learned from there. Recently, I attended a PostgreSQL community meeting hosted by IITM Pravartak Advanced Certificate Programme in Applied AI and ML in collaboration with Postgres Women India.

That was a great experience for me. I'm excited to see IITM Research Park. They present about SQL by multiple slides with real-time code explanation.

After the session, they give another presentation called MINDSET RESET - MANAGING EMOTIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH by Manju S M. That was a very interesting session for me. She deeply talked about EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. And also she said some golden words, they are,

  • Emotional Quotient is important than Intelligence Quotient.
  • Intelligence Quotient comes from Emotional Quotient only.

So basically, these words are really a refreshing words for those who feel like "I am a loser, I can't do anything properly," and also most importantly for those who are going to face their first interviews. And also she talks about those who took a career gap for their life for personal reasons and who are afraid to restart that. For those people she told one word, "You gave just a pause, not a end!"
So overall, I felt that after that event, I am grateful to participated in this.
That's it guys. I hope you like it. You want to know more about that speaker I will attach their Linkedin profile. Will see in my next blog.
