Mauro NavaDec 11, 2023maybe, it could be a good options for very very private projects. An offline and private gpt that could be trained with the project information.
Maybe not offline at all, but that stores all the context and conversations on local or own servers.

Open source model is not yet catch up with Open AI's GPT lineup (in terms of quality), but the one came close is DeepSeek-Coder models, you can find it on huggingface and github.
But of course, you need good computer to run that models locally.But if you mean service similar to copilot that is free, it's Codeium.
Cursor is also a great free alternative, but it's a full blown text editor (fork of VSCode with AI abilities)
I have not, but I'm subscribed to this conversation — I'd much prefer this avenue if there are good products, but I'm not aware of them.
