WeDidIt was founded in 2020 by Sree Krishna Seelam in Vijayawada, starting with a small team of six or seven individuals. Since then, it has expanded into a vast network of over 10,000 volunteers, all united by the mission to leave the world better than they inherited it.

The organization offers diverse volunteer opportunities, including environmental conservation, assisting farmers, organizing sports events, and promoting recycling initiatives. Notably, all staff members, including management, serve on a volunteer basis without receiving salaries.

In recognition of its impactful work, WeDidIt received the prestigious national award from the Economic Times in 2021 for 'Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship'.
WeDidIt's registered office is located in Vijayawada, with operational activities based in Bengaluru.
