First Try with Lovart

Recently I got to tried out Lovart - a design-focused AI agent. Since I needed to polish up the interface for my browser extension Bookmark Dashboard's website, I applied for an invite code to give it a spin, and I was pleasantly surprised! I've tried other AI design tools before, but never applied them to my real project. Lovart's experience stands out in comparison.

This was my original interface (fully built with the help of Cursor + Claude) - it looked a bit rigid to be honest.

Here's what Lovart designed for me - definitely an improvement over the previous version in my opinion. (visit the website)

Overall I'm quite happy with Lovart's design. It can provide complete layouts with all necessary visual elements (like images), and even allows specific element tweaks. While implementing the design, I removed some unnecessary elements and had Lovart regenerate certain images I was not happy with - but the core design required very few modifications. For solo developers like me, it genuinely helps offload design work.

Lovart's user interface:

The only drawback for me, is Lovart doesn't seem to directly export HTML/CSS yet. I had to copy the webpage source code from the preview page to quickly convert designs into code.

Lovart has opened its beta for testing - might be worth checking out if you have design needs.

Thanks for reading!
