So, you know, I'm basically fluent in both 'free pizza' and 'slightly-less-free pizza' of the game engine world.

Prepare for insightful posts about the joys of debugging that one obscure animation glitch for three weeks straight, and the sheer ecstasy of finally getting those particle effects to look almost like you intended.

I recently finished serving in the military and am now transitioning into software development. It’s been quite a journey—my background includes a degree in aerospace engineering, time spent as a full-time monk, and working on nuclear reactors for the US Navy. And now here I am, diving into the world of software.

While I had some computer science experience in college, I began studying software development seriously in March 2024. Since then, I’ve worked across the full stack—from databases to UI. My current go-to stack includes:

• PostgreSQL for data storage
• Python + FastAPI for the backend
• Vite + React on the frontend
• AWS for deployment

I'm preparing for backend engineering roles, with a particular interest in distributed systems and AI/ML applications.
