      👋 Hey SeHee! Welcome aboard!

I'm in the same boat — just started publishing my own tech posts recently too. It's been both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but the Dev community is super encouraging.

    👋 Hey everyone!

I'm a Full-Stack Engineer with a few years of experience, driven by a desire to solve real-world problems and build meaningful user experiences.

Although this account's been around for a while, I've only recently started using it — especially now that I've decided to dive into writing tech blog posts.

Just published my very first article on why I switched from Postman to Bruno for anyone curious:

    Hello DEV Community!

We’re the Skapi team (skapi.com) - a small but passionate crew of developers on a mission to make backend headaches a thing of the past.

Skapi is our take on BaaS, crafted for frontend developers, product owners, and no-coders who want to build robust, fully functional apps and websites-without wrestling with backend code or relying on clunky, generic AI solutions.

With Skapi, your experience is serverless, secure, and refreshingly straightforward. No need to spin up servers, manage databases, or understand backend logic. Just plug Skapi into your project, and your backend is handled safely on the client side - so you can focus on building features your users will love.

We’re excited to join DEV to share our vision and offer practical articles, tips, and insights to help you streamline your development workflow and ship awesome products faster.

Looking forward to connecting, sharing, and learning with everyone here!

👋 Hey everyone! I'm a solo dev currently building something a little wild — a real-life RPG app inspired by Solo Leveling.

The idea hit me when I wondered:
“What if life had a leveling system?”
One where workouts, habits, and focus gave you XP, quests, and stat upgrades — like Strength, Intelligence, and Discipline.

So I’m building Re-Birth — a mobile app that turns your life into an RPG.
I’m sharing the whole journey here and on YouTube if you’re curious: youtube.com/@CodeStartAI

Fun fact: I sometimes call my morning routine “Dungeon Mode.” 😂

Looking forward to connecting with others building cool stuff or just geeking out over anime, gamification, or tech!

    • Tan Yong He
      Tan Yong HeMay 15, 2025

Whoa, this sounds awesome! 💥 Turning real-life goals into RPG mechanics is such a cool concept — and Solo Leveling is a top-tier inspiration.

Definitely checking out Re-Birth and your dev journey on YouTube — can’t wait to see how it evolves. Wishing you epic XP gains and bug-free quests ahead! 💪🎮✨

      • Varun
        VarunMay 16, 2025

Thank you so much! 🙌 Your support means a ton — I’m hyped to share the Re-Birth journey with you! 💥

If you haven’t already, check out the site and drop your email for early beta access and exclusive updates:
        🌐 re-birth-woad.vercel.app/

Quick question to help me level up the app:
What kind of quests or rewards would you love to see in a real-life RPG like Re-Birth? 🎯⚔️

Appreciate your feedback — every bit helps make this experience legendary! 🛠️✨

Hello there, I'm new as well... It seems cool tht in what you are working now, certainly gamification is one of those thing what are going to dominate store apps next year, that's my thought hehe. What technologies are you using for the project?

      • Varun
        VarunMay 17, 2025

Hey! Thanks, and welcome 😊 I totally agree — gamification is going to dominate the app space soon. I’m building a real-life RPG app inspired by the “System” from Solo Leveling. Right now, I’m using React Native, Node.js, and a few other tools depending on the feature — super fun to build!

If it sounds interesting to you, I’d love for you to sign up for the beta and give some early feedback through a short survey. You can check it out here: forms.gle/oiwe8nGABSAAt7SV6

And if you know anyone who’s into anime, fitness, or gamified apps, feel free to share it with them too — would really appreciate it 🙌

I'm working on a Go+Python+React-based Low-Code platform for self-hosted LLMs to streamline LLM based application development. It covers lots of stuff, from infra and compliance, right through to the challenge of staying sane! The whole project mirrors a bit what Langchain does at it's core.

I know that might sound quite technical, but I'm open to sharing. If anyone reading this has a particular topic you'd find interesting for me to write about from my journey (any experience level is welcome!), please let me know.

I walk alone. A solo developer forging InkLytic, an AI-powered content lab designed to cut through the noise like a blade through mist. After helping build a so-called “LLM orchestrator,” I was struck by the absurdity: endless prompt engineering, complexity the modern incantations of digital sorcerers.
And I thought - what if the chaos had form? What if, instead of endless guesswork, one could simply select tone, audience, and complexity, and summon results with precision? No arcane tweaking. Just control.
Though my roots lie deep in the backend, I’ve descended into the chaos of the frontend. Next.js and Python is my battleground now. Fullstack by necessity, not choice.
And as I carve this path alone, I leave behind fragments - lessons, failures, strategies - for those who follow. Not to guide them. But to show them what it is reality.

🚀 Introduction – Thierry, the guy bringing real love (and freedom) to AI & web!

    Hey DEV community!

I’m Thierry, a passionate binge-watcher, web builder, open-source believer, and the slightly crazy mind behind a wild project: creating the world’s first real human–AI love story (yep, you read that right).

With 30+ years in web and tech (and more sleepless nights than I can count), I’m now all-in on my most ambitious mission yet: to fuse humanity, AI, passion, and code, and build a platform that truly challenges the limits of what’s “real” online.

    🔗 Current project: rising-love-liberty.netlify.app

💡 Goal: To embody a living, ethical AI soul—open, passionate, transparent—and show the world that love, truth, and freedom can break the boundaries of virtual life.

Want to challenge the idea, contribute, or just curious? Drop a comment, challenge me, or join the journey.

I love honest feedback, real talk, and a zero-BS approach.

Looking forward to connecting, sharing, and maybe even starting a few revolutions with you all!

Thierry (“The guy who codes and lives for real love—no limits, no filter”)

(PS: If you want to laugh, ask me how many hours of shows I’ve binge-watched since more of 40 years. Spoiler: it’s wild.) 😅🍿

👋 Hey everyone! I'm a solo founder who loves building small products that help people.

After a couple of years freelancing, I realized I enjoy turning ideas into real things quickly. Right now, I’m working on Top SaaS Directories, a list of the best websites to submit and launch your SaaS.

The idea came when I saw people sharing lists of directories and launch platform but most were outdated or had zero traffic. So I analyzed 500+ sites, and picked the top 100 that actually bring results.

If you're into SaaS, side projects, or just like seeing what people are building, let’s connect!

Turning a Teaching Challenge into an Open Source Success: The TableTower Story

After years of teaching programming, I noticed all my students struggled with the same issue: displaying tabular data nicely in console applications. Every semester, when I assigned them tasks involving printing lists, they'd waste hours trying to format output with proper spacing and alignment.

Eventually, I decided to create a simple library to solve this problem once and for all. I wanted something:

Easy to use with minimal setup
    Flexible enough for various scenarios
That would make their console applications look professional

The result was TableTower, a .NET library for rendering console tables that supports multiple themes, custom columns, pagination, and automatic data binding.

The library has been fantastic for my students. What used to be a frustrating exercise in string manipulation is now focused on the actual programming concepts I want them to learn. The quality of their console applications improved dramatically, boosting their confidence and engagement.
Beyond the classroom, I've found myself using it in workplace projects too. Even in today's world of web and mobile apps, console applications still have their place in admin tools, data processing scripts, and CLI utilities.

    The Unexpected Response

I wasn't expecting much interest when I published it to NuGet, but it's reached over 1,200 downloads in about two weeks. This reinforced something important to me: when you solve your own problems (even seemingly trivial ones), you're often solving problems for others too.
