    Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve just terminated a MCP server that connects ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client to a cash register (POS) system.

    🧠 It lets you:
    Create and record sales
List and manage products, clients, and payments
Generate real-time reports directly through ChatGPT

    🔗 Project homepage: kash.click/free-pos-software/ChatG...
    🔗 Live demo: mcp.kash.click/
    💾 GitHub: github.com/paracetamol951/caisse-e...

    Example commands:
"Record a Sale of one Game coin for 2$ paid with Stripe"
    "Show me today’s sales"
"Add a sale of 2 coffees and 1 croissant at table 84"
    "Generate a weekly report"

It’s built entirely on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and works with HTTP or STDIO.

Feedback and contributions are very welcome! 🙌

    Hi devs,
I've been looking for this kind active community, Finally found it.

Looking to connect with other builders, learn from experienced devs, and maybe share some of the mistakes I'm making along the way so others can avoid them.

Currently working on a LinkedIn comment automation tool using React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Gemini API. It's been a wild ride of late-night debugging and "why isn't this working?!" moments 😅

    What I'm learning:

    • Full-stack development (React + Node.js)
    • AI integration (Gemini API)
    • Payment processing (Razorpay)
    • The hard parts of turning ideas into actual products

If you're into SaaS, AI automation, or just building cool stuff in college, let's connect! Always happy to chat or help with React/Node questions.

Hello everyone! I'm Siegfried happy to joining this community.

I'm currently a student and working on LLM/Autonomous AI engineering. My idea is to create my group of engineer, CEO, manager, leader and amongst other that collaborate together to help people, small startup and companies build their ideas/business easily. Presently, I'm fighting to get a scholarship opportunity in a better school (we don't learn AI here), I study AI presently on my own. I know python, C, html and css.

Presently, I'm working on creating my custom emotional wallpaper generator with AI API. It functions on generating cool wallpaper based on your mood.

I'm very happy joining cool people as you and hope we will work together.
    Thank you.

Just found this place.. Old timer dev with my neck deep in Laravel (ergo: PHP). I work full time and on my non-paid hours I build stuff no one will ever need or use - except maybe me..

My latest contribution to API's no one ever heard of, will hear of and less than that will use is stubbr.dev - which I gracefully is hosting on Google Cloud Run.

Besides code I always like to think that I raise two daughters, cook and play games (both computer and board).

About the projects: we are building LLM evaluation and training datasets to train LLM to work on realistic software engineering problems. One of our approaches, in this project, is to build verifiable SWE tasks based on public repository histories in a synthetic approach with human-in-the-loop; while expanding the dataset coverage to different types of tasks in terms of programming language, difficulty level, and etc.

A few months ago, I fell victim to what I thought was a legitimate cryptocurrency trading platform. The brokers appeared professional, their website sleek and convincing, and they promised daily profits with minimal risk. I had been following crypto trends for years, so when they offered to manage my Bitcoin investments for better returns, it seemed like a good opportunity. Over time, I transferred a total of $115,000 worth of Bitcoin into their trading account. At first, everything looked fine. I could see profits accumulating on the dashboard. But when I tried to make my first withdrawal, the problems began. My requests were under review for days, the website vanished overnight. The reality hit me hard: I had been scammed. After the initial shock and regret, I began searching for recovery options. That’s when I came across Dexdert Net Pro Recovery, a digital asset recovery firm specializing in tracing and reclaiming stolen cryptocurrency. I was skeptical at first; But the transparency of their process and the professionalism of their communication convinced me to give it a try. From the very first consultation, the Dexdert Net Pro team treated my case with urgency and empathy. They explained how blockchain forensics works, Within three days, Dexdert Net Pro Recovery successfully retrieved all my  $115,000 worth of Bitcoin, I watched in disbelief as my recovered Bitcoin appeared back in my wallet. It wasn’t just about the money, it was about the relief of knowing that justice, in some way, had been served. Thanks to Dexdert Net Pro Recovery, I was able to reclaim what I thought was gone forever. Reach out to professionals who understand the blockchain space and can actually trace your digital assets. Dexdert Net Pro Recovery didn’t just recover my funds, they restored my faith in legitimate recovery solutions.

I’m working at the intersection of media and AI, co-building an independent international newsroom: NAnews — Nikk.Agency Israel News.

We publish multilingual global coverage (Israel, Ukraine, EU, diaspora, geopolitics) and experiment with AI-assisted editorial workflows — including multilingual tone calibration, AI bias-detection in conflict reporting, and narrative integrity checks.

    Here to:
    • learn from AI builders and open-source contributors
    • share real newsroom use-cases for AI
    • exchange experience about ethical AI in journalism

I'm Wolfe James, a format designer with 30 years of
experience - from Commodore Amiga's .iff format in the 90s
to creating 3D simulation formats for the Carpet Industry
    (still in daily use!).

Recently got into AI development and immediately saw a
problem: AI assistants forget project context between
sessions. So I did what format designers do - created .faf
    (Foundational AI-context Format).

Just got word from IANA today that it's officially
registered as application/vnd.faf+yaml - sits alongside
PDF, JSON, XML as an internet standard. Pretty exciting
moment after 3 months of building!

Looking forward to connecting with this community and
learning from all of you. I'll be sharing more about the
journey from desktop frustration to IANA registration soon.

I was reading another comment on another part of the site and got shifted into the welcome thread as I joined an lost the post I was going to reply too, initially what I was going to point out on the thread I think it was about Linux & Microsoft calling it "Communist" was that in reality computers and socialism have a long history, take for example ARM (R)(TM) Reduced Instruction Set Compiler, where you program in BASIC & Assembler (High Level Programming Languages, which many programmers would view as the Pinnacle of computer programming - not to mention it's stands for "Anti-Radiation-Missile" as well... SMART Technology - Where-as Linux is a Low Level highly extrapolated copy of BASIC that is more often than not bundled onto the CISC - Complex Instruction Set Compiler. Hence that's why Linux has more Glitches & Bugs whilst RISC & Basic has fewer. You wont ever find any Basic CVE's! So a website hosted on BASIC can not simply be hacked...

Software Architect from Japan here - Founder of Takumi Labs, Inc. (established 2002). My focus spans AI, Cloud, Security, and Tech Education.

I'm a strong advocate for Multi-LLM Collaboration (ChatGPT × Claude × Copilot) - I believe the future of development is about orchestrating multiple AI tools for their unique strengths.

Just published my first article on DEV: a deep dive into DNS stability monitoring using a multi-target correlation approach. This project showcases how I combine traditional infrastructure monitoring (Linux-based probes) with modern AI tools (used GeneralLLM/ChatGPT for data visualization). It's a practical example of the AI-enhanced workflows I've been exploring.

With over 30 years in the industry, I'm excited to share knowledge and learn from this community. Looking forward to discussing:

    • Multi-LLM collaboration patterns
    • AI-enhanced development workflows
    • Cloud architecture & observability
    • Security best practices
    • Bridging traditional infrastructure with modern AI tools

Check out more at takumi.cloud (coming soon) 🚀

What's your experience with multi-LLM workflows?

I'm Ryan and have been a Ruby on Rails developer for over 7 years and trained at Makers Academy programming bootcamp in London.

My programming journey started out with books like the Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus focused on C++, then I worked on some Java applets for some charity work, and professionally have been working on Ruby web apps and APIs. As well as the Rails MVC back-end I am familiar with the most common front-end frameworks like React.js as well as the Rails 8 Hotwire framework, which includes Turbo and Stimulus.

I enjoy attending the London Ruby User Group and have been into blogging in the past so as well as being inspired and educated by the posts on Dev.to I am aiming to put together some articles to share too.

Hi Dev.to! I’m Bamlak, and I work closely with small and medium-sized businesses to help them use AI to uncover hidden inefficiencies and streamline operations.

From my experience, many SMEs lose hours to repetitive tasks, slow approvals, and siloed data. AI isn’t just for big corporations and it can automate workflows, analyze operational patterns, and provide actionable insights, even on a small scale.

On this account, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned: practical AI tools, case studies, and tips for implementing solutions that actually work. Some topics I plan to cover:

Automating repetitive workflows without complex setups

Using AI analytics to spot operational bottlenecks

Practical, low-cost AI solutions for SMEs

Most of my insights come from working with Kaytics, where I’ve seen these approaches create real impact. My goal here is to share hands-on knowledge you can use, whether you’re a developer, analyst, or business owner exploring AI.

Stay tuned for my first deep dive: How AI Is Eliminating Hidden Inefficiencies in Daily Operations.

    Paul SavchuckNov 5, 2025

    Hey, I'm Paul

Idk, how to write not a very long story, 'cause my life is full of different things. Let's start with I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and still here xD

I'm around programming for 20 years, 8 fulltime, 5 officially.
Started coding at age 8 on Celeron 300, was learning how to install system, break passwords/basic defences (reset bios xD), install and fix games, mostly to just play games, or introduce something to them, which I thought would be fun.

Since then I touched some grass and worked on many corners of tech, for example, I've been:

    • repair technician (fixing water pipes)
    • "hacker" (well, in http epoch it wasn't hard, what could I say), actually left long ago
    • medical translator

And, of course, dev. I've written code in big corps, small teams, solo projects under different nicknames, some times it was shadow work (when you are declined from big tech because you don't have a formal degree, what can you do :( ). Also, I always believed skill outweighs hierarchy.

My ideas were too raw for Medium, too long for Twitter, too strange and deep for LinkedIn. I don't chase engagement; I write things I'd actually read twice. At one point I made my own labyrinth-style blog, but realized it was too personal. Then, randomly, I stumbled upon dev.to - probably from a Primeagen video (not a fan, not a hater). Looked around and thought: well, this place looks very close to what I wanted, maybe that's it.

Currently working somewhere around the overhyped-AI domain inside one of the most influential tech giants - let's leave some intrigue on which one.
