I am stuck between either learning how to create Wordpress Themes or learning Vala for Java Programmers to create ElementaryOS applications.

Which do I choose? Oh, the technology!

There are probably more jobs for people who can create and work with Wordpress themes and templates, but, with Vala, you have ElementaryOS apps! I do want to become a Linux App Developer one day but maybe it's probably better to learn how to work with Wordpress themes because it has more opportunities.
