Zoom and Spotify Face Major Outages, Disrupting Users Worldwide
Zoom has resolved a global outage that impacted video calls, the website, and its app, affecting over 67,000 users. The disruption, which peaked around 2:30 p.m. EDT, saw widespread issues with the website, app, and login. Users were advised to flush their DNS cache and reconnect to resolve lingering issues. Zoom's service has since been restored, though some users continued facing problems until late in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Spotify also experienced an outage on April 16, disrupting music streaming in the U.S. and Europe. The company confirmed the issue by 8:45 a.m. ET, and is actively working to resolve it.
