Critique my Portfolio

I was recently informed that my cushy job of the last 5-ish years is coming to an end. I've been meaning to build a portfolio for a while now anyways, but this was just the push I needed to actually get it done. Now I'm seeking advice on how I can improve it. I'm not much of a designer, so any tips on the UI/UX would be greatly appreciated, but I'll listen to any advice the community can give me.

The site is at https://tstark2.us

Thanks!

Hi Todd! Bummer about the transition, but also an exciting time!

    Just a couple notes:

    1. Add a case study or two. It's nice to have one or two projects you can into more greater detail.
    2. The hover change to the project isnt ideal for mobile. If i scroll down then back up, if i put my finger over the project, the overlay dissapears. Might consider revisiting that.

Other than that, looks good to me. In my experience, as long as it looks decent and is easy to navigate for the hiring manager, its good.

    Good luck!

      Thanks for the feedback!

I agree with your point on the hover transition, I have been going back and forth about that in my head for a while. Might switch that to a click handler, or even a button. I'll have to play around with that and see what works.

I hadn't thought about adding case studies. I'll definitely consider adding a couple of those.
