Why I won't quit and you shoudn't neither

First of all, I just want to say hello to everyone. This is my first post here, my "Hello, world!" on this community.

Let me introduce myself quickly. I am a 26 years old guy who decided a few months ago to quit his job and walk the path of programming that everybody is scared of. I am working to become a web developper sometimes. I am not rushing and I am not scared, I made a passion out of it and an obsession to make it right. Am I a perfectionist? Well, read the line before the question, pretty explanatory, right?

I know that web development is not easy. There are courses, famous ones, that insist the basics are easy to grasp: html, css, js. They are not. They are not piece of cake. Are they impossible then? No, they are not. Why did I chose to remind this? Because if you think stuff is easy, then you end up scratching the surface and ignoring the fundamentals. The frustration will eventually come up and maybe you will want to quit. Don't! Think why you started in the first place. There are lots of concepts to comprehend. Take it one by one, but be patient and no matter what you do, keep going. You will make it somehow.

Now, why am I so sure I will not quit at some point? Because I want to prove myself something, to stay strong no matter what challenges I face. I won't quit because I know it's worth it, it makes me courageous. Take this challenge of learning web development as any other incoming challenge from your life. Everything you build takes time, don't rush it, be patient. Don't quit if you are tired, come back tomorrow. Don't quit if you are bored, take a break, and come back when you can. Don't quit if you don't have much time to learn, just keep going even if you spend 10 minutes a day coding. A line of code is pushing you forward and doesn't let you go. Don't quit if it takes you too long, just wait one more day and another one adn so on. Don't quit when you think you can't make it. You can, just keep going. No matter what happens don't quit.

I know there is something good waiting there for us, aspiring developpers. I know we can do it together.

By the way, I know it is a messy post, looks like it is not going anywhere. Maybe it makes more sense if I write like this:
if (hard) {
console.log('Keep going');
} else if (evenHarder) {
console.log('Keep going');
} else {
console.log('Still keep going');
}

:)

Feel free to to say what you have in mind! I will share my progress with you, maybe I will inspire you or even myself! Take care and keep coding! :)

    You say it’s messy. Yep, but so is learning to code! Keep going, and seriously, turn this into a series so we can follow your journey.

    You captured so well what this journey is all about the patience, the ambition, and all that inner struggle that slowly turns into clarity as you move forward. I saw myself in so many of your thoughts, especially when you said, “it’s not easy, but it’s not impossible.” That’s really all we need to hold onto. It doesn’t have to be perfect or simple — it just has to be possible. And as long as we don’t stop, we grow.

    And yes, that little piece of code at the end is absolutely brilliant, 😄at first glance it might look like a joke, but to me, it means something deeper. It reflects the spirit of how it all begins: those very first lines of code we wrote with curiosity, excitement, and a genuine desire to figure things out. It’s exactly the kind of snippet you'd print out and hang on your wall, not because of its complexity, but because of what it represents: that you started, that you kept going, and that no matter how hard it gets, you're still pushing forward. Perfect!
    Big congratulations for your courage and thank you for sharing this with us. I really hope you keep posting updates, because reflections like this truly inspire and make the community feel more human. Keep going! 🙃👏💕

      You just made this post better! It is just the missing part of the text that you get only if you read between the lines. Thank you for completness! Thank you for your kind words!
