My heart contributes nothing :(


I'm not actually joking. That was not a photoshop. It really happened. This bug is very bad. It happens to me. It might be due to a refresh error.


Can anyone help me fix this issue (uwu)?

Describe the bug When I post said comment, heart is 0. When I click the heart button, Heart goes to -1. It might be a reload or cache issue.

To Reproduce

  1. Post a comment in DEV anywhere
  2. See the heart button counter turn to 0
  3. click the heart button
  4. see it go to... -1.

Expected behavior When posted a comment, heart counter should be 1 as DEV automatically sets you to heart the comment.

Additional context This issue started some time ago. It seems to be fixed when refreshed. So maybe someone removed refreshing the page once a comment has been posted.

        Oh totally! And to be clear, it's all good to share them here.

        But if you could also report them in our repo, that'd be hugely helpful. You could even potentially embed the issue into your article here (our embed syntax = {% embed URL %}) or link to your article from the issue, that way if there is helpful information in the article, our engineering team can easily access it when working on the bug.

        Sorry, I mispoke. I meant that you were being humorous... but regardless, please just report any bugs in our repo so that our engineering team can help to fix them.
