To activate the inline editing of lists in workspaces, you need to set the property 'glide.lists.inline_editing_enabled' to true. OOTB it is disabled.

1. Go to sys_properties
2. Search for 'glide.lists.inline_editing_enabled'
3. Set the property in the global scope to true

Now you can double click on a list item and directly edit it.
