I am a passionate Computer Science student and I really love to do development in different Python frameworks like Flask and FastAPI, I am also interested in Cyber Security domain and i have also discovered some tools on Kali linux.
I am also interested in Blockchain technology and have gained the basic fundamentals of it and have written a couple of smart contracts using solidity and I want to work on this tech in the future . This is one of my main reasons to join this community to learn with others.
Currently I am making a React Project and I would appreciate any tips and advices from experienced developers.
And to use efficiently my typing speed I have started to use vim to improve my efficiency, I know its quite a hard task but I believe the result would be definitely worth it. Btw I have been using vim in my arch linux. Learning arch is also under process for me.
I am excited to be here and looking forward to learning and growing together with this community.
Using vim sounds harsh, there are more pleasant ways to improve typing speed, besides just practicing. There are some online gamified tools where you need to type something faster than other people to get a better score.

I’m excited to join this space! I’m Chumze, and while I’m not a full-time developer anymore, I actually started my career as one. I studied computer engineering in college and spent years coding before transitioning into the business side of tech. Because of that, I’ve seen firsthand how these two worlds often clash – but also how they can learn from each other.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that business growth is a lot like software development. Here’s why:
You Don’t Start with All the Features:
In software, you build an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) first, then iterate based on user feedback.
In business, you start small, validate your idea, and grow organically. Skipping this step is like trying to launch a fully-featured app without testing – it rarely works.
The Business-Team Clash:
Developers want to build something scalable and elegant.
Business teams want to ship fast and meet customer demands.
The tension often comes from forgetting that both sides are working toward the same goal: a successful product.
Growth Happens in Stages:
Just like software evolves from MVP to v1.0 to v2.0, businesses grow through stages:
Baby Stage: Learning to crawl (finding product-market fit).
Toddler Stage: Taking first steps (early revenue, but still fragile).
Teenager Stage: Growing fast, but with growing pains (scaling challenges).
Adult Stage: Stable, self-sufficient, and ready to mentor others (mature business).

Hey everyone, I built a Tetrino game with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but I’m facing three issues:
Tetrino Sinking – Pieces drop one extra step after touching another.
Game-breaking Error – Second Tetrino at the base causes: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'classList').
Scoring Bug – Score increases on contact instead of after a full row is completed.
Any help debugging would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a Software Engineer - officially, my title is Lead Integration Engineer, but in reality, it's essentially a Software Engineer role with more privileges and responsibilities. I used to think that I was only passionate about backend development and that frontend/infrastructure work was just something temporary when necessary. However, after years of experience, I've realized that backend, frontend, infrastructure—it doesn't really matter. What matters is solving real business challenges and helping companies grow.
Of course, if I had a choice, I'd prefer working on backend-related logic, but ultimately, the best thing is solving business problems and, in my dedicated time, working on exciting technical challenges.
I work at PSYKHE AI, where we personalize user experiences using psychographic intelligence. Even after four years, I'm still impressed by how much we can learn from people's interactions with products and how we can help them find relevant items. This experience has proven to me that ML is a powerful technology, and I'd love to deepen my understanding of it.
At the moment, I'm studying Math and Machine Learning - not just to use it, but to truly understand and contribute to development or research. I've also realized that I've spent too much time thinking about writing and speaking at conferences. Instead of overthinking, it's better to start small and gradually share insights from my career.
I hope to write something original and useful to others - and most importantly, not just AI-generated fluff. Let's keep the internet alive!

I just started up a blog here to track the progress of my side project. I'm working on a text-based RPG with some lite-UI puzzle/gameplay elements, in a similar style to Torn City or Mob Wars: LCN, but with a modern UI/UX approach, a high fantasy twist, and some light-weight gameplay elements. I'm pursuing this project as an outlet for my creativity, to exercise my brain, and because I feel like there's a lot of room to innovate in this niche genre.
Creating a blog here is my first step towards building a community around my game. I don't know much about community building, this will be a first for me - but I look forward to the experience.

Chapter 1: A Serendipitous Encounter
My name is Cassandra, and I wander around my lovely cliff-top town of Taormina, next to the Mediterranean Sea. Everyone who visits or lives here smells the salt water, fish, spicy meals, and the streets. I love to solve problems, love people, and love life. I work as a private investigator, and I also love my job123.
One sunny afternoon, while walking on the hot sandy beach, I almost walked into Zarathustra, an Iranian visitor. He was deep in thought, reveling in the sights and sounds of Taormina. He wished me an interesting day, and I thought, "I want to really know this man."
Zarathustra was dressed in a strange bathing suit and looked frail and gaunt. He stared at me with intense mystical eyes and asked, "Have we met previously in this life?"456.
What a mysterious and interesting question, I thought. Looking downward at his feet, I only smiled with a questioning look. "I don't know this man, what does he want?"
Zarathustra looked down at my feet, nodding and smiling. He did not want to overwhelm me with his presence. He stayed silent and walked on, knowing that we would meet again78.
After thoroughly enjoying the waves, I returned to my office near the Teatro Antico di Taormina, an ancient Greco-Roman theater that I loved to visit. My secretary, Amilia, looked happy. She was in her late forties, extremely loyal, and ethical. In fact, she was more of a partner than a secretary, always ready to take on various roles910.
"We have a new case, and I think you will find this client rather interesting. He was just charged with murder," Amelia said, beaming with satisfaction. His name was Marcus, a politician who had many enemies.
Chapter 2: The Case of Marcus
I looked happy. Of course, I would take on this new client immediately.
First, I met Zarathustra, and now I have
this wonderful opportunity to use my talents serendipitously, just in one day1213.
Marcus told me that he had been framed for the murder of his best friend, Atticus, a man he totally trusted and cared about deeply. Marcus was known for his brutal honesty and unwavering ethical standards, which made him a target for his enemies. He was the mayor of Messina, Sicily's capital city14.
The authorities found Atticus dead in his home in Messina, just across the street from Marcus’s office. The murder weapon had Marcus’s fingerprints all over it, and the time of death occurred while Marcus worked overtime in his office. He did not have an alibi. His colleagues in the office heard him and Atticus in an extremely heated argument, giving him both motive and opportunity. Things did not look good for Marcus1516.
I drove to Atticus’s home to start my investigation, while Amilia made a storyboard of his enemies' photographs and created a timeline based on Atticus's death, which the medical examiner suggested was between 8:00 and 10:00 PM. Unfortunately, this covered a period where Marcus did not have any witnesses to his location17.
